Timeless Traditions Foundation's Roots to Resilience Community Wellness Garden surpassed its 300lb fresh produce distribution goal on August 10, 2026, donating over 400 pounds to families experiencing cancer or chronic disease. The garden has since grown that total to 650 lbs shared with more than 90 families.

Free fresh produce helps cancer patients and nursing mothers in Pittsylvania County

Reports that the Roots to Resilience Community Garden has served more than 75 families since opening two months earlier, providing free fresh produce to nursing mothers and cancer patients, with funding support from the University of Virginia, VCU's Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Sovah Health.

Dry Fork's Timeless Traditions 1 of 3 in nation selected for rural health academy

Reports TTF's selection as one of only three organizations nationally, out of more than 60 applicants, for the National Rural Health Association's Rural Health Community Capacity Academy, earning a year of coaching from Dr. Kina White. Executive Director Bethann James identifies Dry Fork and Pittsylvania County as federally designated Medically Underserved Areas and a maternity care desert, and outlines TTF's four pillars: cultural preservation, ancestral health and wellness, economic mobility, and safe and affordable housing.
